Welcome to Mac NetHack 3.1.1!
This is an interim binary release, since we´re working hard on major improvements to the interface and set-up of Mac NetHack. In the meantime, enjoy this version.
There may be some problems with error -51 being reported the first time you run the game; we have not been able to track this error down as it only occurs intermittently when running NetHack for the first time on a machine.
You HAVE to throw out old save and bones files, as the save format was changed between the previous version and this version. You might also want to throw out the "NetHack Windows" file in the Preferences subfolder of your System Folder. However, the format of "NetHack Defaults" is the same from the previous version so you may want to copy this file into the new dungeon folder.
